As part of our work with the RSPB we harvested 45 bags of sphagnum moss from Tywi Forest in Mid-Wales and delivered it to Dovestones in Greenfield, Oldham ready for transplanting onto the moors. We were able to identify specific species of sphagnum that were better suited to peat building
